Last Saturday we went to the zoo. It was kind of chili so we were all bundled. I had Kate in the front pack. She was bundled in this little fuzzy thing and Justin said she looked like a lamb.

The cougar just kept staring at her. He would walk away but keep his eyes turned to Kate. Then he started growling like she was his dinner. It was funny, but a little concerning.

She always has stickers on her face =)

The kids took a ride on the merry-go-round. They had a good time!

New Christmas Present???

Okay, I normally don't vent, but....today I am. So, last year on November 17th I got up early and purchased my Christmas present. I was sooooooo excited! I have been a Celine Dion fan since high school and for Christmas I actually got tickets to her concert. Oh, I have been looking forward to it for a year now. It was supposed to be this week. Today I found out that it has been postponed =(. I am so sad. Normally it wouldn't be too bad...I'd just go when it was rescheduled. Unfortunately, it was rescheduled for February...on a Sunday =(. I thought about going, but I don't think I could do it. I think I would feel guilty the whole time. There are still a few days to decide, so I don't know. I'm so sad. Oh well, it's just a concert, right???

Just a friendly reminder that today is election day!!! Everybody get out and vote! You may have to brave the rain and cold, but think of the Iraqis who voted with their lives in danger. I already voted, so get out there and vote! Go McCain!!!!!

Halloween

Happy First Halloween Kate!!!

(btw...she had her 4 month check-up today....11pounds and 11 ounces---go Kate!)

This is the scary Halloween house in the neighborhood. They go all out! All the kids except TJ were scared and wanted to leave. The little girls would not get down from their daddys' arms.

We went trick-or-treating with my brother-in-law and my niece and nephew. We had a great time. Justin's parents came also. Alyssa just walked and walked. She loved it.

This is all of us at the ward party. We had a good time. Thanks to all those who put it together! My kids are already counting down to next Halloween.

Yard Update

At the end of the summer I took pictures of all the flowers in our yard. I was very proud of our collection and all our work. Here are some of the pictures. I am not a photographer, but I think they turned out really well. I can't wait 'til next summer to get out there again!

BOO Tag

What was my favorite costume when I was a kid???
I was gypsie once, and I really liked that costume. I remember hating it when it was so cold that I had to wear my coat....under or over my costume. Now I'm the mean mom that makes her kids wear coats with their costumes when it's cold....oh how things come full circle.

We always carve pumpkins on Halloween, and we have chili for dinner (I don't know why...easy and hot?). Sometimes we go to my sister-in-law's house for dinner, a party, and trick-or-treating.

Lost Tooth

Hooooorrrraaayyyy!!!!!! TJ was so excited that he finally lost his first tooth. I could tell that he was starting to feel bad because a lot of his friends and cousins have lost teeth already and he hadn't. So, finally, the day came!!! That grin did not leave his face all day, it was really cute.

And there it is....the empty space. The tooth above it is also loose.

Here is my cute smiley baby. She is so darn cute! And she is such a good baby! Last night I fed her at about 9:00pm and when Justin's alarm went off at 6:30am I freaked out.....Justin, the baby never woke up! She slept the whole night. Oh, but that does make me sad that she is already that big.

Kate's Blessing

On Sunday we finally got to bless Kate. Of course it was the day it snowed 7 inches!!!! So thanks to all our families who drove in the snow to get here!!! Doesn't she look so pretty??? I thought she looked like an angel. She was really good during the blessing, but she cried the whole rest of the day. I don't think she felt very good. At least she was good during the blessing!

Proud Mom!!!

The girls! I thought we all looked pretty that day. I put foam curlers in Alyssa's hair the night before and it turned out really pretty. Kate wore that dress until right before the blessing. You never know what will happen!!!
