Swimming Lessons

We have three fishies!!! They all had swimming lessons a couple weeks ago and had a really good time (contrary to her face, Alyssa loved it)! TJ is better than me now, I think. He swims across the short length of the pool and back again, the correct way. Brenden is doing really well also. And Alyssa, well, we're just glad she didn't cry every time she got in. She won't put her head in the water, but can do everything else. She loved her class though!

Yay for swimming!! And yay for it being over!!!

Birthday Boy!!!

Happy Birthday to my Brenden!!!!!
Isn't he soooooo handsome??? This is his 6 year-old picture.......6......wow, it's hard to believe.

I love this picture of him and Baby Kate.

He LOVED preschool, and this is his teacher, Mrs. Callie.

He also LOVED riding Janie's horse, thanks Tami!!!

I had to include this pic because he wore those gloves everywhere for awhile last year. He seriously never took them off. So funny.
Oh how time flies. Such a cute boy. Love you buddy!!!! He had fun on his birthday because we were camping. He got to swim in the lake and have a campfire. How many kids get to do those things on their birthdays???
Happy Birthday Brenden!!!!

Camping Trip

Yay! Our first camping trip of the year and it was great!!! We had a reserved site, which makes all the difference. It rained the first night but stopped and was beautiful after that! This is the kids throwing rocks in the river.

She liked throwing rocks also!

So we were sitting around the campfire and Maxeen (MIL) heard a noise over by the dog food. She was holding the dog.....We looked over and there was a racoon eating the dog food. It ate a ton! It would leave then come back for more. We were all cautious because we know the reputation the racoons have, but it seemed so gentle. It never made a sound or acted angry at all. It was actually really neat.

All of us!

Our site was at the bottom of the mountain-side. So TJ and Brenden climbed up there all day long. They had a good time figuring out secret ways back to camp.
We had a great time and were glad G & G H were able to come and Tom and Mercedes, thanks guys!

Happy Birthday to Sweet Kate!!!!!

Okay, so maybe I overdid the pictures. But, it's my baby's first birthday, what do you expect???? So......just a warning......there are lots of pics. And when you do more than one upload it adds the pics to the top. I am lazy and didn't want to rearrange all of them. So her life starts with now and goes back to when she was born. She is such a sweetheart and a great baby. She scoots around wherever she wants to go. She is starting to kneel-up to things but not yet pulling herself up on her feet, thank goodness!! Her first word is "uh-oh," and it is really cute when she says it. She is definitely spoiled, and that is definitely my fault!!

I love the piggies!!! (In her hair=)

Into books already, hooray!!! Can you tell she is getting younger???

I love this picture!!!

In her short life she has already been on two plane rides and to Mexico and New York. How does she rate??

My cute girls in their Christmas jammies, thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!

Blessing Day

First day of church, so cute!

Look how little she was, oh, why does time fly???

I love this picture too.

I think this was her first day home from the hospital. Such a happy sister!!

Yay!! Finally home!!

This was her home for the first 15 days of her life...

Her first real bath. Look how small the tub was, it is crazy!!

Proud brothers and sister. They were a little intimidated by all the equipment, but they did a good job!

Proud Daddy!

Proud Momma!!!

She was in big trouble for coming so early, and I didn't like the incubator time at all. I am glad she is home and happy and doing so well now.

We are so grateful for all the help everyone gave us and for the wonderful NICU staff and nurses for taking care of our sweet baby. It seemed like it would never end, but look at her now. And time has flown by. I have really tried to enjoy all of it, including some of the hard times, and I am so thankful to our Heavenly Father for blessing us with this sweet girl. She is a huge blessing in our lives. She is a sweetheart and I love her sooooo much!! Happy Birthday Kate, I love you!!!
