More Pics of the Camping Trip

Here is Alyssa by the river. We threw about 300 rocks in the river!

I don't know if you can see them, but they all have sticks sticking out from behind their heads like antlers, so here are the only deer we saw, aren't they cute????

TJ made this stick deer as a decoration for the next people at the site. Isn't he so creative and so darn cute??

This is TJ and Brenden's cave. They found it on our walk. They thought it was pretty awesome!

We found this on our walk as well. We think it is a community of caterpillars that is building a cacoon around themselves. It was fascinating to watch.

The Bag Lady

Alyssa is hilarious!!! Justin and I just laugh and laugh (that is when she's not being a stinker...). She loves purses, strollers, blankets, and babies. She puts all the little people, her Pez collection, and who knows what else in every purse she owns. Then she puts all the purses on her stroller. Then she puts at least three babies on and in the stroller, and all the blankets on top of the babies. Then she pushes the stoller around the house. Justin affectionately calls her "The Bag Lady," it is so funny. So here is a picture. I don't think it quite does it justice, but it may come close.

Brendens Preschool Program

Brenden had his end of year preschool program and he did great!!! Thanks Miss Callee for a fun year! Now on to kindergarten!!!!

Okay, well I tried to upload a video two different times, but for some reason, it's not working. So this is him with Miss Callee. I'll keep working on the video.

American Idol Nerd

Okay, so I actually voted on American Idol for the first time ever. And luckily, I voted for the winner!! Congratulations David Cook!!! (I know I'm a nerd, it's okay.)

Fishing

There was a group of 5 pelicans that hung out, it was really neat!!!

Yay!!!! We finally went fishing!!! Our kids have been begging since last, well, they haven't stopped begging since last summer. Unfortunately, we didn't catch anything, but we had a good time! TJ and Brenden both do really well casting themselves, and TJ even breaks the worms in half and puts them on the hook! (Which is good because I WILL NOT!)

Fountain

Okay, so, this is our fountain. We love the relaxing sound of running water, and could not afford a real waterfall, so we have looked everywhere for a fountain. We finally found this one at Costco, and we really like it. It sounds so good! It is a little formal, but we like it. And we hope to someday get more flowers to surround it. That is our newest addition to the yard!

The Zoo

Last weekend we went to the zoo!!! We had a good time. The only bad things were that they moved the polar bear until they can get a better enclosure, the lions died, and they moved the hippo to a warmer location. Those are some of the best animals to see. Oh well. The tiger was really neat, and Alyssa got scared of the elephant, that was kind of funny.
