I Win!!!

And why is that, you say?? I win because I have the sweetest, best husband ever!!!! Now you may be asking why, so I'll tell you my story. This afternoon I got the mail and opened another insurance statement (I'm used to opening those now). This one, however, was terrible. It said that the hospital had not precertified Kate (which I had asked them several times to do...and they said they had) and that we owe the entire amount for her room and board. Are you ready???? Over $26,000.00!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! What???????? Okay, so now you know why I was freaking out. I was in a total panic and getting more hysterical by the second. I was calling the insurance when there was a knock at the door. There was a Fed-Ex truck in front of my house and so I was trying to think of anything I had ordered, and there was nothing. So I opened the door (I think I forgot to say that Justin has been in Dallas since Sunday and will be home this weekend but will go back for two more weeks) and the lady hands me this cute blue, brown, and pink long rectangular box. I'm confused at this point. It had my name on it, but I had no idea what was in it. I opened the card and it was from Justin and it was the sweetest note. I started crying it was so cute and sweet. And this is what was inside the box:

Two dozen beautiful red roses (my favorite)!! Isn't he sweet???? Oh, I'm the luckiest girl in the world! I miss him and can't wait to see him tomorrow. Heavenly Father has blessed me so much. I know I complain when Justin is gone, but he does it so he can provide for our family and so I can stay home with our children. He is the best!!! I love you Justin! Thanks for 10 wonderful years. See you tomorrow!!!
(P.S. My little insurance problem is taken care of and it is covered, thank goodness!)

Happy Two Month Birthday Kate!!

It is hard to believe that my baby is two months old already!!! And to think that we have been home from the hospital for about 8 weeks is crazy. Her two month birthday was on the 2nd (I'm a little slow), and these pictures were taken that day. This cute pink onesie is actually the one I bought for her to come home from the hospital in.....her two month birthday was the first day it didn't absolutely drown her. It's funny how expectations go. We are so blessed to have this sweet thing in our family. She is such a good baby. She is adorable, and Heavenly Father has blessed us so much. She is healthy and is now 8 pounds 12 ounces!!!! Hooray!!!!

Photo Shoot

For some reason I was in a photo shoot mood today. Too bad I'm not the best photographer, at least I try.

This is Brenden's 5 yr-old picture. Isn't he so darn cute??? Thanks to Carlee, thanks Carlee, I remembered that my camera has a color mode on it. So we were experimenting with different colors. This is blue.

Green

Purple

And these are Kate's new pics. She wasn't cooperating very well, but these turned out okay.

This is kind of a smile =)

Boys Only Camping Trip

Justin took the boys camping last weekend with some guys from work and their kids. They had a great time! It looks like the area was beautiful! They caught some tiny fish but let them go. TJ was in heaven, of course. They made marshmallow guns and had wars. They did lots of boy stuff that I really didn't want to know about. The girls stayed home and did lots of girly stuff. We had fun too!!! (Maybe not as much fun, but we tried our best!)

Dinner in the Canyon

We (when I say "we" I mean "I") are sick of being stuck inside the house and not being able to get out. Don't get me wrong, my baby is definitely worth it, but it's summer and we are used to going everywhere. Anyway, we decided Kate would be fine up the canyon because there wouldn't be many people and it wasn't too hot. So we took our dinner up the canyon and enjoyed being outside! We had a great time throwing rocks in the river and finding sticks and listening to the river. It was great!!! I especially liked Brenden holding up the tree with his stick, it was so funny!

Catch Up....

Happy One Month Birthday Kate!!!!!

It's hard to believe that she is now 5 weeks old. These pics were taken on her one month birthday. Crazy!!!

We had Brenden's party at a local restaraunt because I didn't want all those kids in the house with Kate. I'm still being a germ-a-phobe. The kids all had fun. Thanks to Tami for watching Kate so I could be there too! And thanks for April for helping out!

Aren't our kids so cute??? This pic is missing Kate, but of course, she wasn't at the party. Sometime we'll get a pic of all 4 of them!
