Kate's Blessing

On Sunday we finally got to bless Kate. Of course it was the day it snowed 7 inches!!!! So thanks to all our families who drove in the snow to get here!!! Doesn't she look so pretty??? I thought she looked like an angel. She was really good during the blessing, but she cried the whole rest of the day. I don't think she felt very good. At least she was good during the blessing!

Proud Mom!!!

The girls! I thought we all looked pretty that day. I put foam curlers in Alyssa's hair the night before and it turned out really pretty. Kate wore that dress until right before the blessing. You never know what will happen!!!

Happy Birthday big THREE-yr-old!!!! (I can't believe my little girl is 3!!!!)

Here is her official 3-yr-old picture. It's amazing that I actually got her to smile =)

Here is Alyssa with her flower cake. I have one of her smiling, but for some reason I can't delete this one in order to put the other one on. Oh well, you get the point.

They both had good birthdays, and I am so grateful they are my children. They are great kids. I love them so much!!!

TJ Rides A Bike!!!

Hooray!!!!! TJ finally got it! He can now ride his bike without training wheels!!! Yay!! I am so excited for him. His grin says it all. He was so proud and so happy. It's been a long time in coming.....our fault, I know...but we like our backyard too much!!!! So hooray, Justin ran up and down the street countless times and TJ can now do it by himself!!!

Brenden isn't too far behind. Isn't he cute??

Alyssa had to get in the action as well. She looks so cute with the yellow flowers behind her.

Okay Nathan....you wanted more pics of Kate, so here you go! She is so adorable! I managed to get a smile out of her. You should have seen the picture I took before this one, she was screaming and crying. Quick turnaround, that's what I like.

Isn't she so cute???? Oh, we just love her. She is getting so big and is more alert and is smiling more. It's great, and we're loving every second of her.

We are so blessed to have such great, cute kids. We love them all so much and are very proud of their accomplishments and love seeing them grow and learn. Being a mom is the best!!!

I Win!!!

And why is that, you say?? I win because I have the sweetest, best husband ever!!!! Now you may be asking why, so I'll tell you my story. This afternoon I got the mail and opened another insurance statement (I'm used to opening those now). This one, however, was terrible. It said that the hospital had not precertified Kate (which I had asked them several times to do...and they said they had) and that we owe the entire amount for her room and board. Are you ready???? Over $26,000.00!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! What???????? Okay, so now you know why I was freaking out. I was in a total panic and getting more hysterical by the second. I was calling the insurance when there was a knock at the door. There was a Fed-Ex truck in front of my house and so I was trying to think of anything I had ordered, and there was nothing. So I opened the door (I think I forgot to say that Justin has been in Dallas since Sunday and will be home this weekend but will go back for two more weeks) and the lady hands me this cute blue, brown, and pink long rectangular box. I'm confused at this point. It had my name on it, but I had no idea what was in it. I opened the card and it was from Justin and it was the sweetest note. I started crying it was so cute and sweet. And this is what was inside the box:

Two dozen beautiful red roses (my favorite)!! Isn't he sweet???? Oh, I'm the luckiest girl in the world! I miss him and can't wait to see him tomorrow. Heavenly Father has blessed me so much. I know I complain when Justin is gone, but he does it so he can provide for our family and so I can stay home with our children. He is the best!!! I love you Justin! Thanks for 10 wonderful years. See you tomorrow!!!
(P.S. My little insurance problem is taken care of and it is covered, thank goodness!)

Happy Two Month Birthday Kate!!

It is hard to believe that my baby is two months old already!!! And to think that we have been home from the hospital for about 8 weeks is crazy. Her two month birthday was on the 2nd (I'm a little slow), and these pictures were taken that day. This cute pink onesie is actually the one I bought for her to come home from the hospital in.....her two month birthday was the first day it didn't absolutely drown her. It's funny how expectations go. We are so blessed to have this sweet thing in our family. She is such a good baby. She is adorable, and Heavenly Father has blessed us so much. She is healthy and is now 8 pounds 12 ounces!!!! Hooray!!!!
