First Ponytail and Fishing

All our cute kids together, aren't they so cute???

Alyssa and cuz Alexa fishing, or eating snacks, they don't really like the fishing part.

TJ's in heaven!!
Unfortunately, we didn't even have one bite. But it was fun being outside and together with family.

Here's her first ponytail. Isn't it itty-bitty cute??? I think I'll wait awhile before I do it again, but it was really cute.

Look at those eyes! You can't even see the ponytail very well because it's so small. Oh well, I had fun!

Picture Tag...

Okay, the 6th picture from my 6th folder.......

This was when we were eating dinner outside and I asked the kids to smile for a cute family picture, and this is what I got...they all gave me their funny faces. So funny. Good memory. I tag Cami, Jenny, and April S.

Catch-Up

We went to the temple open house, it was gorgeous!!! Thank you Cynthia for all your hard work! I was so excited to show our kids the inside of the temple. I remember going when I was little and I always wanted to go back. Hopefully they will feel the same way.

Our little rock stars!

All that snow and they build that itsy bitsy snow man.....so funny!

We got two new parakeets. This is Snowflake, and Alyssa thought it was great that he would sit on her shoulder.

This is our happy girl. Our families don't believe us that she smiles, but she does!!!

Good Bye Sweet Gracie

I never met Gracie or her family, but they have changed my life. They have taught me to see the good in every situation. They have taught me about love, faith, courage, strength, and family. Yesterday they said good bye to sweet Gracie, who went to live with our Heavenly Father. I know He will watch over her until they can once again hold her in their arms. They are such a sweet family and my thoughts and prayers are constantly with them. I pray that they will be comforted and strengthened at this very difficult time. I thank them for sharing their story, and allowing Gracie to touch so many lives. Thank you Gledhill family, thank you. And Good Bye Sweet Gracie, thank you for the footprints you have left on my heart.

Please Pray for Gracie!!!

I have been following the blog of the sweetest little baby for almost a year. Her name is Gracie and she was born with a heart condition. She has been in and out of the hospital since she was born. She is the sweetest little thing. She is not doing well and will need a heart transplant. You can see her blog at this link:

Mexico!!!!!

Yay! We love the beach!!!

This is at a restaraunt called Leo's Pizza ( I know, pizza in Mexico??). It is in a small, non-touristy town called Chemuyil. We have been eating there for about 12 years and it is amazing to see the growth of the town. When we first went there, the people lived in tiny cement one-room homes with hammocks and dirt floors. Now the homes have gotten bigger, Leo's has expanded, there are a couple other small stores there, there are cars parked in front of homes, and you can tell that the town's wealth has increased. They are still very poor, but what a good success story. And they have yummy pizza!

Aaaaaaaahhhhhh......the swimming pool. I don't think my boys ever got out.

Kate did great!!! She slept well and was a perfect little angel.

TJ got to go fishing on the ocean! Oh boy, did he love it! He pulled in a macral (sp??) and Justin and my brother Tyson each pulled in a barracooda (sp??). Could there be a better day for TJ??

This is a beach we went to that is about 8 min. south of the house. It is gorgeous!!! When I think of heaven, this is it. Beautiful white sand, the perfect waves, oh, it's fabulous!

TJ and Brenden got to be really good boogie-boarders. They had a blast!

And Alyssa and I dug this big hole. She was so proud!
Justin, Zach, Tyson, Logan, Tory (Logan's girlfriend), and my Mom got to swim with the dolfins at Puerto Aventuras. It was really fun to watch. They got to hold onto the dolfins' fins while the dolfins pulled them and then the dolfins actually pushed their feet so they were almost standing up and being pushed through the water. Justin loved it! ( He is 2nd from the left)

We spent lots of time in the shade. We might not be tan, but we had a great time!!
She loved putting her feet in the water and kicking. Look how happy she is, it was so cute!
TJ almost turned into this whale he spent so much time in the pool. Justin taught him how to swim underwater and how to dive down for pesos and other objects. He and Brenden improved their swimming a lot!
So, we had a fabulous time! Eight days was NOT long enough. When the pilot coming home said that the weather at home was 21 degrees, you could hear an audible sigh from the whole plane. Oh, how sad to come home to snow. At least we all have sun-kissed cheeks and got a nice break from the cold! Thanks Mom and Dad, we had so much fun!!!!
For those who want info. on the beach house, here is the link:
or:
or you can check out the web cam that shows the beach that is about a 15 min. walk from the beach house. I want to cry when I look at it because I wish I were there.....
