This is For Liz! =)

OK, so thanks to Justin for painting the color I wanted in the girls' room, thanks to Liz for spending half her scrapbooking day cutting out all the vinyl for me, and thanks to Tami for helping me put it all up!! Thanks to all that helped, the girls' room is finished and looks darling!!! I could not have done it without everyone's help! And with no further ado, here are the pics!

Isn't it so cute??? I love the brown with the purple!

This is the view from their window. Love it!

The purple chalkboard.

This was a plain white dresser and I thought it looked boring....so I added some of the flowers!

This is a magnetic board. We used the Rust-Oleum magnetic paint and I would NOT recommend it! It calls for 3 coats and we did 6 and it is still not very strong. Bummer. But it will have to do for right now.

Isn't it so cute??? I love how it turned out. Thanks again to everyone who helped!

BBall Game and New House!

One Monday afternoon I got a call from my sister asking me if we wanted to go to a pro. basketball game, for our local team. Yes! Of course we do! So we found a babysitter and headed to the game. We were excited but didn't know where the tickets were. Hahaha!!! It was AWESOME! The tickets were for the FRONT ROW! My feet were on the court, it was so much fun! We got to go to the VIP dinner and get popcorn at half-time. It was so much fun! Thanks T and Z!!!!

See, feet on the court, and that was my chair right next to us.

My Sis and Me....Yay! We won!

I don't think I've ever seen Justin this happy and excited. It was definitely Justin heaven!!

I can't remember where this was, but it's my cute boys playing DS.

And they both played basketball and did a great job! Way to go boys!!

And, surprise, we are moving! It came as a surprise to us as well as everyone else. We had been looking off and on because there are so many good deals out there, but this one found us, and I fell in love immediately! We are moving about 15 min. north of where we are now to a smaller town. It is a good compromise because Justin wanted more land in a more rural area (it is .63 acres), and I wanted it to still be close to shopping and civilization, which it is. It is on a cul-de-sac and, as you can see, we don't have any houses behind us at the moment. I'm sure there will be someday, but the lot sizes are bigger and the homes are further apart. So now......if you know of anyone who wants to buy our current house, let us know!!!

This is the gorgeous view behind our new house!

See, no neighbors behind us!

This is our cul-de-sac. Yay! Kick ball, night games, here we come!

Girly-Girls

Recently my girly-girls have been dressing up in all their fancy clothes (ie. dress-ups) and then they come and say, "Mom, take a picture of us!) How can I resist???

Pretty fancy, right???

She's not picky, though. She likes the boy stuff too.

Sisters!

And one more.....

And one more.
They are so cute. The funny thing is I remember doing the exact same thing. =) Thanks for taking all those pictures of us in dress-ups Mom!

St. George Trip

In January, yes January, we went to St. George to find some sunshine. It worked! We are at Snow Canyon State Park by the sand dunes. We had a great time running, tumbling, hiking, and playing in the sand and sun.
This was at the top of the arch hike. It was a fun hike, and the kids did great.
.....Except with this picture. We were so ready to go after this one. I thought it would be fun to get the kids' picture all looking through the arch. Wow. Was I wrong. It was a pain in the butt. None of them wanted to cooperate. And no, this was not the arch the hike is made for, it is much bigger.
We went to Zions the next day and it was COLD but beautiful. We hiked the skyline (I think??) hike and it was a little sketchy with ice and snow, but it was so beautiful.
We did manage to find some spots without snow along the hike.
Some nice people offered to take our family picture.
This is the view at the end. Worth it???? YES!!! It was absolutely gorgeous!

The next day was Monday, our last day, and we decided to walk around the temple grounds in the morning.
Sitting on the steps of the temple.
Do you see the palm trees??? I wish I had some of those in my backyard!
Then we decided to go to a park before lunch. It started out really fun. The kids were having a great time!
....Then, well, I don't want to tell the whole story, but let's just say my Jackson genes kicked in (my cousins and siblings will understand) after I fell stepping off the playground, and I was out for the count for quite awhile. We made it home, but it was not a fun drive home for me. Overall the trip was so much fun and we may make it a January tradition!
