We went to our local fair last week and had so much fun! Here are some of my favorite pics.
The petting zoo was amazing!!! There were so many different kids of animals and the kids had a blast! Kate even got into it. Don't worry......we used lots of sanitizer! 
This ride was TJ and Brenden's favorite. They went on it many times!!! Unfortunately, the first time we put Alyssa on it with them. BAD decision. She did not like it and freaked out. Luckily, the operator was really nice and stopped it so she could get off.
They also had pony rides, and all the kids (well, 3 out of 4) loved it!
We even got Alyssa to try it!
We had a really good time! We'll be back next year, I'm sure!!!

This year was definitely the best in a while. It's too bad Neil missed out. It usually isn't super great, so he said he'd come every other year. I hope next year is fun too!

I love fairs, its that time of year. Looks like fun.
I was working the concessions at the fair so I didn't get a chance to go around with the kiddies, but they had a very good time. I like that Davis county keeps the fair admission free and the parking affordable, I hope they continue this.
I am going to start up a book club next month if you are interested. I'll get you the details. I am thinking of meeting for a potluck lunch instead of an evening. It always seems so hard for people to free up an evening. Have you read any of the Fablehaven books? I haven't read them yet, but feel pretty safe starting with the first one as our first book because they are written for a younger audience and shouldn't have bad language etc. Let me know!
